Corregir la tarea del lunes:

Soluciones:

2.- 1º) pasar el peso del camión a kg: 11 t y 980 kg = 11.980 g.

2º) Descubrir lo que pesan todas las máquinas: 750 x 7= 5.250 kg

3º) Descubrir el peso total del camión y la carga: 11.980 + 5.250 = 17.230 kg.

SOLUCIÓN: El camión cargado pesa 17.230 kg.

3.- a) Pasar 190 t a kg: 190.000kg

b) Pasar 6 t a kg: 6.000 kg.

c) Pasar 50.000 kg a t: 50 t.

3. Does it float or sink?

Some objects sink in water. Other objects float in water.

The ability of an object to float or sink is affected by its density. 

• Objects float when their density is lower than the density of the water.

• Objects sink when their density is higher than the density of the water.

The ability of an object to float or sink is also affected by its shape.

• When you float in the swimming pool, the water pushes you up with the same force as your weight pulls you down. This upward force is called buoyancy.
