During the day, plants take in carbon dioxide and some oxygen, and they release the oxygen.

During the night, plants cannot perform photosynthesis, so they take in the oxygen and release carbon dioxide.

AQUIFERS

Aquifers are groundwater collects above layers of impermeable rock.

When groundwater flows naturally to the surface is formed a spring.

Groundwater can also be brought to the surface by digging wells.
