Density is the property that indicates how much mass is concentrated in an object.
It is the relationship between the mass of an object and its volume.
For example, a cubic centimetre of water has a mass of one gram. Its density is therefore one gram per cubic centimetre (1g/cm3).
Matter is more concentrated in some substances than in others. For example, matter is more concentrated in metal than in wood or plastic. A metal ball has more mass than a plastic ball with the same volume. Therefore, its density is higher.

Archaeologists work on archaeological sites to discover information about this period. They look for bones, tools , objects, monuments or paintings.
Prehistory is the longest period in history. It starts five million years ago with the appearance of the first humans beings.
It has 3 periods: Paleolithic, Neolithic and Metal Ages.
It finishes when humans learn to write.
The most important archaeological site in Spain is: Atapuerca, in Burgos.This people were the first humans in the Iberian Peninsula. They discovered an eleven-year old child's bones. They called the child: Child of Gran Dolina.
In Cáceres, there is also a very important archaeological site: Cuevas de Maltravieso.
