Neolithic means new stone.

Characteristics:

People became sedentary. They settled in one place.

They began to farm crops and animals.

They began to barter. It is they exchanged goods without money.

Some people were artisans. They produced goods such us tools, baskets and pottery.

Their tools were more sophisticated. They used some of them in agriculture.

Para leer un número decimal leemos la parte entera, coma, la parte decimal.

Ejemplo:

245,876 doscientos cuarenta y cinco coma ochocientos setenta y seis.

Non contact forces are forces that not require contact with an object. (Invisible forces)

1. Gravity. It is a force that attracts objects towards each other. The Earth has so much mass that attracts 

everything to its centre.

2. Magnetism. It is a force that causes objects to attract or repeal each other.

Magnets have two poles: North and South pole.

PALAEOLITHIC

Palaeolithic means old stone.

Characteristics:

• They were nomads. They moved from one place to another.
• They were hunters-gathered because they hunted, fished and collected food.
• They lived in caves or in basic huts.
• They carved tools and weapons from stones, bones and wood. 
• They were artists who created cave paintings.
• They used fire for cooking, heating and protecting from predators.

Contact forces are forces that act when we make contact with an object. Examples:

Friction( fricción) is a force that stops things moving or slows things down.

Push and pull. ( Empujar y tirar) When you open a door you make an effort in contact with the door.

Changing shape. ( Cambiar la forma) We can change the shape of objects by applying forces.
